Subject Matter Expert for State of California Electrician Certification Exam, 2000-2001

Daric was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. He spent his summers working with his father in the families General Contracting Business. During this time, he acquired a general knowledge of the construction industry.  In 1983, Daric married his college sweetheart, and together they raised their six children, and are expecting their 7th Grandchild. While working with his Father, Daric began to take an interest in the electrical installations of their projects.  In 1985, Daric entered into the Electrical Industry full time. In the fall of 1987, Daric and his wife Becky packed up their then small family and moved to Vista, CA to apply his electrical skills in the San Diego area.

In 1997, Daric joined the Rowan Electric team and continues to assist in the growth of the company.  Daric’s primary responsibilities at Rowan Electric are to design, estimate, and manage projects.  Daric’s goals are to ensure his projects are completed, with a high degree of customer satisfaction and to develop long-term customer relationships with his clients.

Daric has been an active member of International Association of Electrical Inspectors since 1997. The IAEI focuses on promoting training and safety in the electrical Industry He is currently a board member of the IAEI, Borders Counties Division.

In 2002, Daric accepted the opportunity and privilege of training the next generation of electricians through the ABC Training Trust.  In addition to his regular teaching duties Daric manages the Electrical Distance Learning On-Line courses, for apprentices required to work out of town. Daric enjoys the opportunity to encourage his students to be responsible for the development of their own careers.

After work Daric can generally be found volunteering at his local church where he services in AWANA ministry. Daric also services on the planning committee for Southwestern Leadership Camp, which is a non-profit organization promoting a Christian Sumer Camp Experience.

When the opportunity arises, Daric loves to escape with his family on various family adventures into the wilderness.
